Tricks, Treats, & Steps: Make It An Active Halloween

Lots of great Halloween 2023 activities are happening across Miami! The best part: you can enjoy all the spooky season fun while getting those steps in. We’ve compiled a list of the halloweeniest activities that also happens to include an active (ie walking, hiking) component.
🪦 Haunted Hike at Bill Baggs State Park

Friends of Cape Florida are hosting two family-friendly activities at Bill Baggs State Park.
First, a Halloweeny Carnival including rides, dunk tank, pumpkin patch, face painting, music, food trucks, and an amazing sunset! Also included is a special performance of “Little Monsters” show by Fantasy Factory Theater at 6:30pm. All ages.
The second activity, is the Haunted Hike starting at 7:30pm. Timed tickets are required, recommended for children 8+.
Tickets for the Carnival (unlimited rides, but no hike) are $15.
Tickets for the Haunted Hike (includes unlimited Carnival) are $29.

The Miami Beach Halloween Half Marathon & Freaky 4-Miler is a costume and Halloween themed event that adds a unique twist to the traditional running event. Our event celebrates all things Halloween. We encourage our participants to come dressed in the costume of your choice!
👻 Trick or Treat on the Mile

Miracle Mile will transform into a Halloween haven for the city’s “Trick-or-Treat on the Mile” event. Families are encouraged to come in costume and participate in an array of activities, including face painting, balloon artistry, book readings, and a magic show. Participating businesses along Miracle Mile will hand out candy to eager trick-or-treaters. This event is free to the public.
😱 Zoo Boo at Zoo Miami

Zoo Boo at Zoo Miami invites families and kids ages 12 and under to trick-or-treat in costumes, participate in a costume contest, meet special characters, make Halloween crafts, see our wild animals get their Halloween goodies, and more!
🙀 Halloween on Lincoln Road

Miami Beach’s iconic promenade is hosting their annual Halloween celebration. Ghosts and goblins of all ages are invited to enjoy the promenade early in the evening before it transforms into a vibrant catwalk for costume revelers and visitors later in the night.
